Alt-J To Celebrate 'An Awesome Wave' 10th Anniversary With O2 Academy Brixton London Show In May

Alt-J have announced a special London show for later this spring.
The trio will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their 2012 Mercury prize-winning debut album, 'An Awesome Wave', by playing it in full at the O2 Academy Brixton on May 17. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on April 22. They said:
“To celebrate the ten year anniversary of the album that changed our lives, we are thrilled to announce an extra show at Brixton Academy where we will play An Awesome Wave in full. We know how much this record means to our fans and can’t wait to turn back the clock to 2012 with them in London’s best venue.”
The show, which will also include select tracks from their back catalgue, will take plake alongside their previously announced dates at the London venue as part of the UK leg of The Dream Tour, which shares its name with their latest album that arrived in February.
The band are currently wrapping up the North American leg of the tour, and will head to Australia and New Zealand in September, and mainland Europe in November.
In association with independent records stores, the band have also confirmed intimate sets in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Oxford, Brighton and Kingston on May 5, 14, 16 , 28 and June 7, respectively. Tickets for these dates are on sale.
