Following I Burned L.A. Down, Mr. Percocet marks the second preview of her upcoming debut album, 'The Hardest Part', due out on July 15.
Offering a country-pop aesthetic, with a gentle acoustic rhythm and subdued, shuffling percussion, it comes with a video that spotlights themes of a destructive relationship.
"This song is written about my personal experience with the confusion and insecurities that arise in a relationship when substance abuse is involved," said Cyrus. "It causes such manic behavioral changes that you can lose sight of yourself and who you fell in love with."
The vocalist will play UK and European shows in August, with stops lined up in Glasgow, Manchester, Dublin and London, where she'll headline the O2 Forum Kentish Town. Tickets are on sale.
