Red Hot Chili Peppers Postpone Glasgow Show Due To Illness

Red Hot Chili Peppers have postponed tonight's show in Glasgow.
They were set to perform at Bellahouston Park, but have had to withdraw due to illness. In a statement posted to their social media, they said:
"Due to illness RHCP will not be able to perform in Glasgow tonight on July 1st. We are working on ways to reschedule this show. Please hold onto your tickets and wait for an update soon. RHCP love Scotland and are deeply disappointed not to be able to perform the show. Thank you for your patience and understanding."
The California rockers are on the road supporting their new album, 'Unlimited Love', which arrived in April. It's unclear if the illness will also affect their upcoming shows in Werchter, Cologne, Paris and Hamburg in early July. They also have a North American tour coming up, with shows scheduled during late July, August and September.

Tonight, the band were supposed to be supported by Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals, and Thundercat, with the latter having now announced a last minute headline show at Saint Luke's in the Scottish city. Tickets are on sale now.
