Death Cab For Cutie Post New Single Foxglove Through The Clearcut

Death Cab For Cutie have released a new single, Foxglove Through The Clearcut.
The five-minute, slow-burning ballad features thoughtful spoken word passages, and follows the previously unveiled tracks Here To Forever and Roman Candles in previewing their new album.
The John Congleton-produced 'Asphalt Meadows' is due out on September 16 via Atlantic Records. Vocalist and guitarist Ben Gibbard said:
"Foxglove is by far the most personal song on the record. While I was writing it, I thought I was merely the narrator. But the longer I sat with it, I realized I was both the protagonist AND the narrator."
