King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard have shared a new track, Hate Dancin'.
Leaning hard into the Melbourne band's poppier side, the woozy dancefloor-ready groove serves as the latest taster of their upcoming LP, 'Changes', their third full-length of the month and their fifth of 2022, due out on October 28.
It follows the albums 'Ice, Death, Planets, Lungs, Mushrooms And Lava', which arrived on October 7, and 'Laminated Denim', which dropped on October 12.
"I started writing a song about how I hate dancing, but then I realized that I love dancing," said frontman Stu Mackenzie.
The band are currently on the road in North America, and have a handful of New Zealand shows in the diary for December and January. Next April, they'll play multiple performances at the Byron Bay Bluesfest.
