Clean Cut Kid have shared a new song, She Takes A Pill.
It's the latest single from the quartet's upcoming fourth LP, 'HISS', which is due out on November 11 via Alcopop! Records. Commenting on it, frontman Mike Halls said:
"My wife Evelyn is the kindest, sweetest, and most magnetic person I've ever met. Like a lot of people out there, she takes antidepressants. I know there are certain points in her life where the thought of relying on medication to feel stable can weigh heavily on how she feels about herself. She Takes A Pill is my attempt at turning what is often stigmatised into a source of pride and beauty. The medication has nothing to do with who she is, it just lets all her brighter parts shine a little more."
The airy, acoustic track will be joined on the record by the previously unveiled cuts Inside My Head, Heavy As, Lewis, Be Brave and Little Black Space. The band will accompany the release with two intimate shows in Liverpool and London. Tickets are on sale now.
