Radiohead drummer Philip Selway has announced his new solo album.

'Strange Dance' will arrive on February 24 via Bella Union, and includes collaborations with Portishead guitarist Adrian Utley, British artist and producer Hannah Peel, cellist Laura Moody and drummer Valentina Magaletti.

As a preview, the musician has unveiled the lead track, Check For Signs Of Life, a subdued song that features Selway's hushed vocals over a lush piano and strings arrangement. He commented:

"The scale of it was very deliberate for me, from the outset. I wanted the soundscape to be broad and tall but somehow get it to wrap around this intimate vocal at the heart of it."

Utley contributes to Picking Up Pieces, while the London Contemporary Orchestra, the Assemble Choir, and the Elysian Collective assist on What Keeps You Awake At Night. Head below for the full tracklist.

"One of the things I’ve liked about this record is it's me as a 55-year-old not trying to hide that fact," Selway added. "It feels kind of unguarded rather than seeing that ageing process as something that needs to be hidden."

The LP marks the 55-year-old's first solo full-length release since 2014's 'Weatherhouse'. Radiohead's last record, meanwhile, was 2016's 'A Moon Shaped Pool'.

The band's frontman Thom Yorke and guitarist Jonny Greenwood have been busy with their new project The Smile, who will hit the road in North America this autumn supporting their debut, 'A Light For Attracting Attention', which arrived back in May.

'Strange Days' tracklist:

1. Little Things
2. What Keeps You Awake At Night
3. Check For Signs Of Life
4. Picking Up Pieces
5. The Other Side
6. Strange Dance
7. Make It Go Away
8. The Heart Of It All
9. Salt Air
10. There’ll Be Better Days
