Metro Boomin has delayed the release of his new album.

'Heroes & Villains' was originally planned for release on November 4, however, due to sample clearances, the Atlanta producer and DJ has decided to postpone the album until December 2. Taking to Twitter, he wrote:

"I couldn’t get all the samples on my album cleared in time for next week so I'm dropping on Dec 2nd now so I have enough time to make sure you all get this masterpiece as intended. I promise it’s worth the wait!! P.S. I would NEVER move my album date because of anyone else."

At the time of posting the tweet, Drake and 21 Savage were set to release their collaborative effort 'Her Loss' tomorrow (October 28). But the Canadian superstar has since revealed the project has been pushed back due to his longtime collaborator Noah "40" Shebib contracting COVID-19.
