Promptly following up the October single Lift Me Up, Born Again was also written and recorded for the new film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which opens in US cinemas today (November 11).
The song finds the Barbadian singer delivering an impassioned vocal performance atop a rousing backdrop of piano and strings, until the last minute when things take a more experimental turn.
'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - Music From and Inspired By' arrived on November 4, and as well as Lift Me Up, features contributions from Tems, Burna Boy, Stormzy, PinkPantheress and more, with Born Again being added to the tracklist today.
'The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - Original Score', composed and produced by Oscar-winner Ludwig Göransson, also arrived today.
