Taylor Swift Confirms July Release For 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)'

Taylor Swift has announced the next new version of her early albums.
'Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)' will arrive on July 7, with the superstar confirming the news on stage during the first stop in Nashville on her current Eras Tour.
The singer followed up the announcement with a post on social media, revealing that the reworked edition will include six previously unreleased tracks. She wrote:
"I first made 'Speak Now', completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness. I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing… and living to speak about it. With six extra songs I’ve sprung loose from the vault, I absolutely cannot wait to celebrate 'Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)' with you on July 7th."
'Speak Now', released in 2010, marked the 33-year-old's third album and includes the singles Mean, Ours, Sparks Fly and The Story Of Us.
Swift has been re-recording the albums from her discography that were sold by her former label Big Machine to Scooter Braun, a move she openly condemned. In 2021, she put out a new version of 'Fearless', and 'Red (Taylor's Version)'.
She released her 10th studio album, 'Midnights', in 2022. Swift will continue the North American leg of the Eras Tour with the first of three shows at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia this Friday (May 12).
