Wet Leg, Florence + The Machine And Harry Styles Among 2023 Winners At The Ivors

Wet Leg and Harry Styles have been honoured with top Ivor Novello awards.

The Isle of Wight indie-rock duo, Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers (pictured), picked up the Songwriter Of The Year award, while the One Direction singer scooped his third Ivors gong for his song As It Was, which won Most Performed Work alongside his songwriting partners Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson.

Florence + The Machine, meanwhile, secured Best Song Musically And Lyrically for the track King. Best Album went to Cleopatra Nikolic, known by her stage name Cleo Sol, record producer Inflo (Dean Josiah Cover), Jamar McNaughton and Jack Penate for their musical collective SAULT, titled '11'.

Legendary singer-songwriter Sting had already been earmarked as this year's recipient of the Academy Fellowship, which sees him join esteemed artists such as Kate Bush, Annie Lennox, Elton John and others.

The ceremony, at Grosvenor House in London, saw 30 songwriters and composers collect awards across 14 categories spanning music, film, TV and video games. Head below for the full list of winners, and The Ivors official website for more details.

Best Television Soundtrack: The Midwich Cuckoos – Hannah Peel
Outstanding Song Collection: Kamille
PRS for Music Icon Award: Tim Booth, Saul Davies, Jim Glennie, Larry Gott and Mark Hunter for James
PRS for Music Most Performed Work: As It Was – Harry Styles
Rising Star Award with Amazon Music: Victoria Canal
Songwriter of the Year with Amazon Music: Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers (Wet Leg)
Special International Award: Debbie Harry and Chris Stein
Visionary Award with Amazon Music: Charli XCX
