Baroness have shared another track from their sixth album.
Following Last Word, Beneath The Rose serves as the second preview of 'Stone', due out September 15 via Abraxan Hymns.
Melodic with a proggy, experimental edge, it's rife with sludgy guitar riffs, aggressive vocals and switching tempos and time signatures. Head below to view the accompanying video self-directed by the band, with editing handled by frontman John Baizley and bassist Nick Jost.
Their first non-colour-themed LP, the self-produced follow-up to 2019's 'Gold & Grey' was recorded within a secluded rented house among the pines of Barryville in New York State.
The Philadelphia-based band will support the record with their Sweet Oblivion Tour across North America this fall. Tickets are on sale.
