Magnolia Park Announce New Album 'Halloween Mixtape II', Share New Single Animal

Magnolia Park have announced a new album.

'Halloween Mixtape II' will arrive through Epitaph Records on October 27, and is the "spiritual counterpart" to 2021's 'Halloween Mixtape'. It follows up their 2022 LP 'Baku’s Revenge', and their recent EPs, 'MoonEater' and 'SoulEater'.

The new record was produced by Andrew Wade and Andy Karpovck, and further develops the stories of the fictional characters introduced through the Florida-based band's previous releases. As a teaser, check out the first single, Animal, a collaboration with rapper Ethan Ross and dark-pop singer PLVTINUM.

Anchored by industrial beats with heavy, gritty guitar riffs and layered with angsty, emotive vocals from Joshua Roberts, it draws on the group's love of metalcore and nu-metal heavyweights such as Linkin Park. Guitarist and songwriter Tristan Torres said:

"The song came together organically because we did it in only a couple of hours. It's such a weird collaboration, but it works so well and sounds so cool. We got to do the video all together too - we all flew out to LA and we got to hang out and make this really cool, nu-metal-style video."

Magnolia Park will embark on a US tour in October, joined by support Poptropicaslutz!, TX2 and 408. Tickets are on sale.
