Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard Announce Spring UK Tour, Release New Single Therapy

Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard are back with a new single called Therapy.
Energetic and with a heavier, fuzz-laden edge to their usual guitar-driven alt-rock sound, the introspective track follows the Cardiff quartet's spring single Chew.
Both songs come from the band's writing and recording sessions at Rat Trap studio, the base of frontman and producer Tom Rees, who has previously helmed records for rising acts Panic Shack, Do Nothing and The Bug Club. He said in a statement:
"Not surprisingly I wrote Therapy after I had my head squeezed like a giant cyst and years and years of backlogged pus just started oozing out (“my father” this and “my mother” that). I was so impressed by how great I felt that I became a massive nuisance to everyone around me telling them they need to go to therapy - big "a person you kind of know telling you that you NEED to watch Breaking Bad" vibes - so this song was really an extension of that.
"More than anything it was a fun opportunity to be creative with imagery around feeling frustrated, and the freedom that came from getting the help to understand why."
Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, who released their Welsh Music Prize-nominated debut LP 'Backhand Deals' in 2022, have scheduled a 16-date headline UK tour for March. Tickets go on general sale at 10am tomorrow (November 1).
Ahead of the trek, they'll appear at Brighton's Mutations festival on November 4 before a free show at Omeara in London three days later.
They'll also play Swansea Arena House Party on February 24, with proceeds from all ticket sales going towards a fundraising target of £20,000 to support Music Venue Trust's mission of preserving grassroots music venues.
