The National Announce Outdoor UK Shows As Part Of Summer European Tour

The National have announced a summer UK tour of outdoor venues.
The Ohio band will headline the Eden Project on July 2 as part of the Eden Sessions series, Cardiff Castle the next day, Manchester's Castlefield Bowl on July 4 for Sounds Of The City, Crystal Palace Park in London on July 5 and Edinburgh Castle on July 11.
They'll be joined by This Is The Kit in Cornwall, Unknown Mortal Orchestra in Cardiff, This Is The Kit in Manchester, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Kevin Morby and This Is The Kit in London, and Bess Atwell in Edinburgh. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am next Friday (November 17).
The UK shows are sandwiched in between newly confirmed concerts in Milan, Rome, Paris, Vienna, Bonn and Copenhagen. They go on sale the same time as the UK, except Milan and Rome which go live at 10am on November 16.
The summer tour will follow their previously announced shows in Australia and New Zealand during late February and early March. Tickets for those dates are on sale.
The announcement coincides with the start of their short US tour, which begins at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco tonight (November 10).
The National are hitting the road in support of their new album, 'Laugh Track', which they surprise released in September.
