The Jesus And Mary Chain have released a new song called Chemical Animal.
Brooding and atmospheric, it marks the second single off the Scottish alt-rockers' upcoming album, 'Glasgow Eyes', which is due out on March 8 via Fuzz Club.
Jim and William Reid previously teased the record with its first single, Jamcod. The duo will support the LP with a UK and European tour in the spring, which will also celebrate their 40th anniversary as a band. Tickets are on sale now.
Their latest studio album is 2017's 'Damage and Joy'. Since then, they've dropped a deluxe version of that record, as well as two live LPs, 2022's 'Live At Barrowland' and 2023's 'Sunset 666 (Live At Hollywood Palladium)'.
