Brittany Howard has confirmed shows in London and Manchester for the summer.
The Alabama Shakes frontwoman will headline London's KOKO on July 2, and Manchester's Albert Hall on July 6, with tickets on general sale at 10am next Friday (February 2).
The new dates are in addition to her previously announced dates supporting Hozier in July, plus a run of North American concerts in February and April. She will also play Coachella in Indio, California in April, and Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee in June.
The Grammy Award-winning artist has also released Prove It To You, the third single from her upcoming second solo album, 'What Now', due out on February 2.
Propelled by house beats and co-produced with Shawn Everett, the danceable song follows the previously shared cuts from the project Red Flags and the title track. Introducing it, she said:
"I wanted to write a fun four-on-the-floor dance track that makes you want to dance but at the same time lyrically looked at the complexities of being in a relationship. I love those songs that might not be exactly what they appear to be on the surface."
