Hot Water Music Share New Singles Remnants With Turnstile And Fences Featuring Thrice

Hot Water Music have shared two new singles.
Remnants features backup vocals from Brendan Yates with additional percussion from Daniel Fang, both of Turnstile, while Fences is a collaboration with Thrice. Guided by the gravel-coated bellows of Chuck Ragan, both tracks offer the Gainesville punk veterans' gritty, searing guitars and follow their double drop of Menace and Burn Forever in February.
Speaking about the former, the band explained in a statement that it's, "a song of friendship and what it means to be a true friend to a person dear to us even through the toughest times of our lives. These values are based on whether or not we choose to be present for one another when all seems to fall apart."
On the latter, a slower, more pensive affair, they added: "One of the toughest things in life is remembering and recognising the importance of living in the moment. With so many distractions in our day-to-day lives, it becomes easy to get lost in the noise of this society and lose focus of our true and present purpose."
The new cuts offer a further preview of Hot Water Music's new album, 'Vows', which is due out on May 10.
They'll celebrate their 30th anniversary with UK dates later in March, followed by a North American tour in May and June, and European shows in November. Tickets are on sale.
