Baddy On The Floor features DJ and producer Honey Dijon and marks the British electronic artist's second new track of 2024, following It's So Good.
Created by the two DJs over video calls during the COVID-19 pandemic, the hypnotic dance track was performed during Jamie xx's Coachella set on Sunday (April 14). It serves as another taster of what's to come on the long-awaited follow-up to his 2015 debut album 'In Colour'.
In a new interview with BBC Radio 1's Jack Saunders, he revealed that he's almost finished the new record, which is expected later this year.
Jamie xx will also play Glastonbury Festival in June, then headline Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago in July.
