The Lathums have returned with their first new single of the year, No Direction.
The guitar-charged indie-rock anthem arrives ahead of the band's biggest headline concert to date this Friday (July 19) at Wigan's Robin Park, where they'll be joined by Jake Bugg and Brooke Combe. Introducing the track, frontman Alex Moore commented:
"There is no direction now but up. With time and experience I’ve learned that a bit of common sense and a clear mind is all it takes to accept my insecurities and not let them lead or consume me. What’s done is done, let the past go and spend time on becoming better. Fear and pain have no place in moving forward, they exist only as a lesson when you reach your final destination."
The song follows last September's standalone single Thoughts Of A Child, and their chart-topping second album, 2023's 'From Nothing To A Little Bit More'.
Ahead of their huge homecoming gig, The Lathums will play a warm-up show at Asylum at Hull University tomorrow (July 18). They'll also appear at Portsmouth's Victorious Festival in August and the Liam Gallagher Malta Weekender in September.
The Lathums Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Thu July 18 2024 - HULL Asylum - Hull University Union
Fri July 19 2024 - WIGAN Robin Park
