Sugababes have announced a new outdoor UK show for the summer.
The London trio — Siobhan Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan — will headline Live At Lincoln Castle on June 20. Support will come from Freya Ridings and tickets go on general sale at 10am on February 14.
The three-piece are the final headliner to be confirmed for the concert series, which will also host headliners Texas, The Stranglers, UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, James, Rag'n'Bone Man, Olly Murs, The Human League, Sting, and Simple Minds. Cuffe and Taylor promoter Mark Harrison said:
“We’re thrilled to welcome Sugababes to Lincoln Castle. With almost three decades in the industry, they’ve cemented their place as pop icons and defined an era in pop music. Their headline show at the castle promises an unforgettable night, allowing fans to relive the magic of some of pop’s greatest hits in a truly stunning setting.
“We have 10 incredible headline shows planned for summer from punk, rock and reggae, to pop, indie and new wave. These are huge stars with armfuls of awards and chart-topping hits among them so we can’t wait to welcome them all to this beautiful location.
“Lincoln Castle provides the perfect backdrop for these headline concerts."
This summer, they'll also headline the Hootenanny Fayre in Cornwall on June 21 and Newmarket Racecourse on August 23 as part of the Jockey Club Live series
Those performances will follow their biggest UK and European tour to date throughout the spring, tickets for which are already on sale.
Sugababes released their debut album, 'One Touch', back in 2000. Their most recent record is 2022's 'The Lost Tapes', which they put out when the original trio of Donaghy, Buena and Buchanan reunited, as the record features material that dates back to 2011. Various iterations of the group released six records throughout the noughties.
