Kool and The Gang have announced shows in Manchester and Surrey for the summer.
Led by the only surviving founding member, bassist Robert "Kool" Bell, the Grammy-winning funk and soul band will be joined by special guests The Real Thing at Manchester's AO Arena on July 11, before headlining Boogietown festival in Walton-on-Thames the following day.
Tickets for their Boogietown show are on sale now, and tickets for their date in Manchester go on general sale at 9.30am on Friday (February 14.)
Kool and The Gang released their most recent studio album, and 34th overall, 'People Just Wanna Have Fun', in 2023. The album features some of the last work from founding members Ronald "Khalis" Bell, Dennis "D.T." Thomas and George "Funky" Brown.
Last October, the group were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at a ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio.
