Jennie Teams Up With Doechii For New Single ExtraL

BLACKPINK's Jennie has teamed up with Grammy-winning rapper Doechii for a new single, ExtraL.

Fusing elements of hip hop and pop, the empowering collaboration is the latest to be shared from the K-Pop idol's new star-studded debut solo album, 'Ruby', due out on March 7 via Odd Atelier/Columbia.

Produced by Dem Jointz, whose résumé includes work with Christina Aguilera, Aespa, Anderson .Paak, and more, the track arrives with a video directed by Lyrical Lemonade.

In addition to Doechii, 'Ruby' boasts team-ups with Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, FKJ, Kali Uchis, and Dominic Fike, who contributed a verse to Jennie's previous single, Love Hangover, released last month. Other tracks already shared from the record include Zen and Mantra.

Jennie will celebrate 'Ruby' with intimate The Ruby Experience shows in Los Angeles, New York and Seoul around its release. She'll also play Coachella festival for the first time in April, where her BLACKPINK bandmate Lisa will also perform her own set, following the release of her solo debut album, 'Alter Ego', on February 28. 

The two other BLACKPINK members have also dropped solo material in recent months, with Jisoo releasing her debut mini album, 'Amortage', last week, and Rosé putting out her debut solo record, 'Rosie', last December.

BLACKPINK, meanwhile, will regroup for shows across North America and Europe this summer. The limited run of stadium performances includes a huge show at London's Wembley Stadium on August 15, which will see the superstars become the first ever K-Pop girl group to headline the venue. 

Tickets for the London date go on general sale at 11am GMT on February 27, with their shows in Paris, Milan and Barcelona on sale at 12pm CET. Their North American concerts go on general sale the same day at 3pm local time.

Earlier this month, Doechii shared the single Nosebleeds hours after the Florida hip hop star won her first Grammy in the Best Rap Album category for 2024's 'Alligator Bites Never Heal'. She'll play Denmark's Roskilde Festival in July, and support RAYE at the South London singer's All Points East show at London's Victoria Park on August 23. Tickets are on sale now.
