The line-up for Live At The Piece Hall in Halifax just got bigger.
Extreme (pictured) will headline on August 7 and will be joined by special guests Terrovision. Nile Rodgers and CHIC will top the bill for the concert series' closing gig on August 29, following a set from special guests The Brand New Heavies.
Tickets for both dates go on general sale at 10am on February 28. Rodgers said: “I love the UK, it’s my home from home. This will be our fourth visit to this beautiful venue and I can’t wait to bring the Good Times to Halifax yet again.”
Other acts confirmed for this year's Live At The Piece Hall series include Squeeze, Doves, James, Gary Barlow, The Corrs, Pendulum, UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, Deftones, Dean Lewis, The Teskey Brothers, Weezer, Train, Busted, Olly Murs, The Script, Simple Minds, Rag'n'Bone Man, The Human League, Paul Heaton, Leon Bridges, Texas, Travis, Ill Divo, Roger Daltrey, Anastacia, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Libertines, The Saw Doctors, Supergrass, The Smashing Pumpkins, Faithless, and Khruangbin.
Nile Rodgers & CHIC will headline a number of UK concert series this summer, as well as playing two headline shows at Glasgow's Barrowland, having only today announced a second date at the venue on August 13. Hard rock band Extreme, meanwhile, put out their latest album, 'Six', in 2023 and supported it with dates in the US, UK, Europe and Australia the same year.
This year, they'll play festivals in the US in the spring and tour Europe in the summer, playing both festivals and headline shows. The latter run will include a headline performance at the O2 Academy Birmingham on August 6, tickets for which also go on sale at 10am on February 28. Get yours here.
