Slayer Tickets For Outdoor Summer Shows In Cardiff And London On Sale 10am Today

Slayer have announced two new UK shows for the summer. Slayer tickets go on general sale at 10am today.

The thrash metal legends will play Cardiff’s Blackweir Fields on July 3 and London’s Finsbury Park on July 6, alongside their previously scheduled appearance at Ozzy Osbourne’s Back To The Beginning final show with Black Sabbath at Birmingham’s Villa Park on July 5.

The new dates will mark Slayer’s first headline UK shows in six years, and support will come from special guests Amon Amarth, Anthrax, Mastodon, Hatebreed and Neckbreakker.

The Welsh show forms part of the inaugural Blackweir Live concert series, which this summer will also host headliners Noah Kahan, Alanis Morissette and Kings Of Leon. Tickets for those concerts are already on sale here.

Slayer, comprising vocalist and bassist Tom Araya, guitarist Kerry King, drummer Paul Bostaph and guitarist Gary Holt, disbanded in 2019 after wrapping up a year-and-a-half long farewell tour. They returned to stages for the first time since 2019 in 2024.

They’ll also headline FEQ Festival in Quebec, Canada on July 11, and Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky on September 18, having been scheduled to play in 2024 but cancelling due to Hurricane Helene. 

Their latest studio album is 2015’s ’Repentless’. Since then, they’ve released a number of live albums.
