Stevie Wonder Joins Line-Up For This Summer's Lytham Festival

Stevie Wonder has joined the line-up for Lytham Festival.

The legendary American singer-songwriter and producer will top the bill at Lytham Green on July 3. Tickets go on general sale at 10am this Friday (March 21). Lytham Festival co-founder Peter Taylor said: 

“What an announcement. Since the very beginning of Lytham Festival I have said my absolute dream gig to promote would be Stevie Wonder so this is going to be a very special night.

“He is without doubt a legend who, since the 1960s has continued to amaze audiences everywhere with his talent.

“I have every confidence the people of Lytham and beyond are going to be delighted we are all going to get to hear this amazing voice and enjoy a truly memorable night on Lytham Green.

“And alongside Stevie Wonder we are announcing no less than 11 special guests and support artists today with even more to come. Every year we work hard to bring the very best artists to Lytham and it is safe to say we have a huge line-up for 2025 to bring five days of incredible live music to the Lancashire coast.”

He joins this summer's previously confirmed headliners Kings Of Leon, who'll perform on July 2 and will be supported by Manic Street Preachers and Jake Bugg, Alanis Morissette, who'll top the July 4 line-up following sets from Train, Liz Phair and Lottery Winners, and Justin Timberlake, who'll headline July 5 with support coming from Jess Glynne, Dagny, and CTRL. 

Simple Minds and Texas will co-headline the festival's final day on July 6, and will be joined by Cast, The Alarm and Pete Waterman, who'll bring his Hitman DJ set. Tickets for all previously announced shows are on sale now.

Stevie Wonder's last studio album was 2005's 'A Time To Love'. In 2022 he put out 'Love & Affection (Live 1975)' and since then he's featured as a guest artist on numerous tracks, and released standalone singles, the latest being 2024's Can We Fix Our Nation's Broken Heart.
