Lil Yachty Shares New Song Can't Be Crete Boy Featuring Veeze

Friday, 04 April 2025 Written by Jon Stickler

Lil Yachty has released a new song.

Can't Be Crete Boy finds the Detroit rapper exchanging bars with fellow Motor City native Veeze over booming 808s and soulful vocal sample. It takes a menacing turn around halfway, though the two emcees maintain their laid back flow.

Head below to check out the accompanying Lyrical Lemonade video, directed by frequent collaborators Little Miles and AMD.

Last summer, Lil Yachty and Veeze teamed up for the single Sorry Not Sorry. The former's latest solo album, is 2023's 'Let's Start Here', which was followed in 2024 by 'It's Us Vol. 1', his rap crew Concrete Boys' debut mixtape, and 'Bad Cameo', a collaborative album with singer and producer James Blake.

The new track arrives as Lil Yachty continues touring with Tyler, the Creator on the Chromakopia World Tour, which heads to Europe and the UK this spring, before a second leg of North American dates in the summer, and Australian and New Zealand shows in August and September. Tickets are on sale now.
