Halestorm Return With New Single Darkness Always Wins

Halestorm have returned with a new single, Darkness Always Wins.

Produced by Dave Cobb, the slow-burning rocker serves up a darker, more emotionally-charged sound compared to last year's more anthemic collaboration with I Prevail, Can You See Me In The Dark?. Vocalist and guitarist Lzzy Hale said:

"Darkness Always Wins is not a song of hope, nor is it a song of despair. It is Reality. History repeating. Evil prevails and the Good depart first. But we are not doomed as long as we persist and keep our fires burning. The War may not be won in this lifetime. But our mission is to pass the torch so that those who follow have a light to fight with."

Halestorm released their 'Live At Wembley' album last year. Their most recent studio record is 2022's 'Back From The Dead'.

They have US and European headline shows and festival appearances lined up throughout the summer, as well as dates supporting Iron Maiden across Europe in May and June, followed by US dates supporting Volbeat in July and August.

They'll also appear at Ozzy Osbourne's Back To The Beginning final show with Black Sabbath at Birmingham's Villa Park on July 5.
