Billy Idol Recruits Avril Lavigne For New Duet 77 Ahead Of 'Dream Into It' Release

Billy Idol has enlisted Avril Lavigne for a new duet, 77.

​Leaning into the pop-punk influences brought to the track by Lavigne, the infectious offering marks the second preview of 'Dream Into It', the rock legend's first full-length album of new music in over a decade, due out this Friday (April 25).

Idol previously teased the follow-up to 2014's 'Kings & Queens Of The Underground' with Still Dancing, an autobiographical track that was shared along with details of the album in February. 

Following the record's release, Idol will embark on the spring North American leg of his It’s a Nice Day To…Tour Again! Tour, with support from Joan Jett and The Blackhearts. A second leg will take place in the summer. Tickets are on sale now.

He'll also play shows in Europe during the summer, including an appearance at the new Forever Now festival in Milton Keynes on June 22, and his only headline UK show of the year at London's OVO Arena Wembley on June 24. Support in London will come from special guests New Model Army. Tickets are on sale now.
