Chuck D Announces New Solo Album 'Radio Armageddon' With Lead Single New Gens

Public Enemy's Chuck D has announced a new solo album.

'Radio Armageddon' will arrive through Def Jam Recordings on May 18, following up 2018's 'Celebration of Ignorance'. He did, however, put out 'What You Gonna Do When The Grid Goes Down?' with Public Enemy in 2020.

Guest appearances include Daddy-O of Stetsasonic, Schoolly D, Philadelphia hip hop legend Phill Most Chill, Donald D and Jazzy Jay of the Universal Zulu Nation, hip hop's first hype woman 1/2 Pint, ULTRAMAG7, NYC’s Miranda Writes and artists from Chuck's own SpitSLAM Record Label Group: The Impossebulls and Blak Madeen.

Chuck D and Flavor Flav will take to the stage for a special show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on June 27.  The exclusive, one-off show will commemorate the 35th anniversary of Public Enemy's seminal anthem, Fight The Power. Tickets are on sale now.

Public Enemy will also play BottleRock Napa Valley festival in California and Boston Calling in May, and support Guns N’ Roses at shows across Europe in July.
