Lil Yachty Shares New Song Murda

Monday, 09 June 2025 Written by Jon Stickler

Lil Yachty has shared a new song, Murda.

This track reimagines Maggie Rogers' 2016 viral hit Alaska, incorporating a vocal sample that adds a haunting aesthetic alongside the Georgia rapper's introspective delivery.

Head below to view the song's accompanying cinematic video, directed by frequent collaborator AMD Visuals, and produced under Lyrical Lemonade.

Previously, Yachty collaborated with fellow Motor City native Veeze on Can't Be Crete Boy and Sorry Not Sorry. His latest solo album is 2023's 'Let's Start Here', which was followed in 2024 by 'It's Us Vol. 1', his rap crew Concrete Boys' debut mixtape, and 'Bad Cameo', a collaborative album with singer and producer James Blake.

He'll play Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois on June 22. Following that, he'll rejoin Tyler, The Creator's Chromakopia World Tour which runs through the remainder of the summer. Tickets are on sale now.
