New Project From E Of Eels And Kate Mattison Boo Boos Announce Debut Album 'Young Love'

Boo Boos, the new project of E of Eels (Mark Oliver Everett) and Kate Mattison of 79.5, have announced their debut album.
The songwriting duo, Bronco Boo (Everett) and Katie Boo (Mattison), will release 'Young Love' on September 19 via Play It Again Sam.
Comprising 12 tracks, it's led by the double single, C'mon Baby and That’s Not a Thing. The former is built around an acoustic guitar and steady beat with soft vocals harmonies from both Katie and Bronco, while the latter is a more brooding, introspective offering.
The project stemmed from a friendship formed between the two, after Everett had heard a 79.5 song late one night on KCRW radio and decided to add it to a playlist he was asked to make for Radio L'envie.
Eels released their latest album, 'Eels Time!', in 2024, while 79.5 put out a self-titled EP in 2023.
