Dolly Parton has announced a short Las Vegas residency for the winter.
Titled Dolly: Live in Las Vegas, the six-concert run will take place at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace between December 4 and 13, coinciding with the National Finals Rodeo.
The country music icon's first extended Las Vegas run in 32 years will feature performances of classic hits and fan favorites, including 9 To 5, Jolene, I Will Always Love You, Coat of Many Colors and more. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Wednesday (June 25). Parton said in a statement:
"To say I’m excited would be an understatement. I haven’t worked Vegas in years and I’ve always loved singing there. I’m looking so forward to the shows in The Colosseum at Caesars and I hope you are as well. See you there."
Earlier this year, Parton released a new song, If You Hadn't Been There, dedicated to Carl Dean, her late husband who passed away in March. She also collaborated with Sabrina Carpenter for a reworking of Please Please Please, one of five bonus songs on the deluxe edition of the pop singer's 2024 album 'Short n' Sweet'. More recently, she teamed up with Mötley Crüe for a new version of their classic track Home Sweet Home.
Her latest studio album, and 49th overall, 'Rockstar', arrived in 2023. She followed it up with the 'Smoky Mountain DNA: Family, Faith and Fables' LP in 2024 and 'The Dollywood Collection: Celebrating 40 Years of Music & Memories' this May.
