The None have shared a new track.
In Civic Pride is the b-side of their recently released, now sold-out, 7" single with At Hope on the a-side. As with all their songs and records, it's currently streaming exclusively via Bandcamp and offers up some of their most frantic noise-rock to date. Discussing the inspiration for it, bassist Gordon Moakes said:
"The world’s burning and we’ve put edgelord meme-bros in charge. How will that turn out I wonder? Tech idiocracy is a class war, in the end. I’m backing the Luddites."
The single follows their 'Care' EP, which came out back in February and which we spoke with the English band about during their spring UK tour. Read the interview here.
The None will appear at festivals in the UK and Europe in the coming months, including Fusion Festival in Lärz, Germany and London's Decolonise Fest.
