Reneé Rapp has shared her new single, Mad, along with its accompanying music video.
Serving as the second instalment from her freshly-announced sophomore album 'BITE ME', which is due out on August 1 via Interscope Records, the North Carolina-born singer-songwriter brashly evaluates the emotional turbulence of a past relationship with a short-tempered ex. It follows her previously released single, Leave Me Alone.
The sultry video, which stars actress Alexandra Shipp as Rapp's love interest, sees her charging through a hotel in frustration, attempting to seduce her lover during their tense confrontation, as she quips, "All of the time you wasted in your head / We could've been having sex / You could've been getting all of my time / but you were being mad."
Rapp is set to support her upcoming record with a North American tour this fall, kicking things off at Denver's Red Rocks Amphitheater on September 23.
