Midge Ure has announced his A Man Of Two Worlds Tour for spring 2026.
The Ivor Novello winner and '80s icon, well known for being the frontman of electronic pop group Ultravox, has lined up over 20 shows between May 8 and June 5, including stops in Liverpool, Leicester, Birmingham, Sheffield, Manchester, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, London and Nottingham.
Tickets go on general sale at 9.30am on Friday (July 11). Each show promises an "immersive, cinematic experience" for fans, with the Grammy nominee revealing that he wanted to, "take the audience on a journey rather than just play a list of individual songs." He explained:
"This is my two worlds coming together.
"Almost every album I have made over the last 40-plus years has featured at least one instrumental track. Instrumental music is one of my main loves.
"For the first time, these often-overlooked instrumental pieces will be performed as sonic bridges between the hits and fan favourites – creating an immersive, cinematic experience for the audience that flows as a seamless journey."
Ahead of the newly announced dates, the singer-songwriter will play a special Under The Stars show at Cardiff's open-air Tiger Yard on August 16, the day after his appearance at Rewind Festival South in Henley-On-Thames. He'll also take his Catalogue – The Hits Tour to Australia and New Zealand in October. Tickets are on sale now.
