Wednesday Tease 'Bleeds' With New Single Pick Up That Knife

Wednesday have released another track from their upcoming album.
Showcasing the grungy, noise-rock edge of the North Carolina's band's sound, Pick Up That Knife marks the third preview of 'Bleeds', due out on September 19 via Dead Oceans. Vocalist and primary songwriter, Karly Harzman said:
"Pick Up That Knife is a song that revolves around feelings of helplessness, when every minor inconvenience hurts double cause you're close to giving up. It's also about when our pedal steel player Xandy threw up in the moshpit during the Death Grips set at Primavera Sound in 2023."
Other singles already lifted from the follow-up to 2023's 'Rat Saw God' include Wound Up Here (By Holdin On) and Elderberry Wine.
The five-piece will support the LP with a North American tour in the fall, followed by UK and European dates in February 2026. Tickets are on sale now.
