Thursday, 31 July 2025 Written by Jon Stickler

Chance The Rapper has announced the release date for his long-awaited second album.

According to a pre-order page on his official website, the Chicago rapper will release 'Star Line' on August 15. He also took to social media to share the news himself, posting a short video clip, though the record's tracklist is still to be unveiled.

Chance has been teasing the follow-up to his 2019 debut 'The Big Day' for years, all while steadily dropping singles, including Child Of God in 2022, Buried Alive, Stars Out, and 3333 in 2024, and most recently, Tree with Lil Wayne and Smino.

He's also released a few mixtapes ahead of 'The Big Day': 2016's 'Coloring Book', 2013's 'Acid Rap' and '10 Day' in 2012.
