Frost Children have shared a third single from their upcoming album.
In a similar vein to the previously unveiled tracks Falling and Control, What Is Forever For is an emotionally charged electro-pop track. After premiering on BBC Radio 1 during Jack Saunders' New Music Show, it arrives with a video starring Angelina Hoffman that was directed by Angel Prost, one half of the New York sibling duo, who said:
"I like the imagined scenario of a romantic on-and-off fling in a faraway place demonstrating some kind of disregard for Forever. EDM has always had this ethos of “We only have Tonight”, which we agree with. It’s not quite apocalyptic, but there’s some sense that nothing really lasts forever, in a beautiful and sometimes sad way. You shouldn’t force Forever or stretch a moment any longer than it happens— the sudden pause is what makes the party obsessional."
'Sister' will be released via True Panther/Dirty Hit on September 12. The pair will support it with North American tour dates with DJ Thank You and Peterparker69 in the fall, before a European run in December, which includes a performance at London's XOYO. Tickets are on sale.
