Frost Children have shared plans for a new album.
The New York-based electro-pop duo will put out 'Sister' through True Panther/Dirty Hit on September 12, following up their 2023 releases, 'Speed Run' and 'Hearth Room'.
The announcement of the record is accompanied by its lead single, Control, which serves up glitchy synths and distorted vocals among EDM, hyperpop and punk influences. Head below to view the track's Ben Turok-directed video. The duo said:
"Control is our truest self. We don’t care about perceptions anymore and we’re really just ready to take over dance music and make people bounce and feel free. Frost Children takeover is imminent."
Frost Children have European DJ sets lined up over the coming weeks, including a date at London's Village Underground on June 14.
They'll also play a number of European and US festivals this summer, before fall North American dates with DJ Thank You and Peterparker69, and another round of European tour dates in December, which includes a show at London's XOYO. Tickets for the latter UK date go on general sale at 10am on Friday (June 6).
