Ghostface Killah has announced a new album.
The long-rumoured 'Supreme Clientele 2' serves as a sequel to the rap heavyweight's 2000 LP, 'Supreme Clientele', and will arrive on August 22.
The record is part of the Legend Has It... series of albums from iconic hip hop artists curated by the Nas-affiliated label Mass Appeal. To date, the series has included Slick Rick's 'Victory', and 'The Emperor's New Clothes' from Raekwon. The label has also promised new music from Nas and DJ Premier, Mobb Deep, De La Soul, and Big L.
"'Supreme Clientele' was a frame of mind and era in time," the Wu-Tang Clan rapper said. "You could never duplicate that feeling, but you can tap back in. We dug in the files from years ago and pulled together a Clientele that is Supreme! Get ready, 'Supreme Clientele 2' is now."
As a preview, check out the new single Rap Kingpin, which incorporates elements of Mighty Healthy, a track from 'Supreme Clientele', and My Melody from Eric B. & Rakim's classic 1987 debut album, 'Paid In Full'.
The new record also features guest appearances from Nas, Raekwon, Method Man, GZA, Redman, Conway The Machine, Styles P, M.O.P. and more.
Ghostface Killah released his latest album, 'Set The Tone (Guns & Roses)', in 2024.
