Field Medic Shares New Single Simply Obsessed Ahead Of 'Surrender Instead' Release

Field Medic, aka Kevin Patrick Sullivan, has shared one last early single prior to the arrival of his new studio album.
Propelled by gentle acoustic guitar strumming with heartfelt vocals, the danceable Simply Obsessed arrives with a self-directed video ahead of the release of 'Surrender Instead' this Friday (August 8). Sullivan said:
"This song began as the opening lyrics and melody in my head while I was on a walk. It had been a long time since I wrote a full-on love song, which is something I used to really enjoy.
"I wanted to make a song that felt empowering to listen to and remind the audience that they're deserving of love and of course stylish no matter what they choose to wear."
Previously, the Los Angeles-based artist teased the follow-up to 2024's 'Boundless & True' with the singles Castle Peaks and Melancholy.
He'll hit the road next this fall for a North American tour supporting Richy Mitch and The Coal Miners. Tickets are on sale now.
