Sparks Announce First EP 'MADDER!' With New Single Porcupine

Sparks have announced their first EP.
'MADDER!' is a four-track project and will arrive on October 3 via Transgressive as a companion to brothers Ron and Russell Mael's latest album, 'MAD!', released in May. They said:
"Not wanting the Mad!ness to end and buoyed by the phenomenal reaction to 'MAD!', we made a hasty but intense retreat to the studio to record a Sparks first: an EP. 'MADDER!', a four-song companion piece to the album, is for everyone who isn’t yet MAD! enough. We hope these new songs will take you to an even MADDER! place."
Alongside the announcement, Sparks have shared the EP's lead track, Porcupine, which delivers the duo's signature baroque pop style, blending playful lyricism with theatrical flair. The EP also includes the tracks Fantasize, Mess Up, and They.
The band will kick off a North American tour with a performance in Atlanta this Friday (September 5). Tickets are on sale now.
