Chet Faker has shared a new single, Inefficient Love.
The introspective, laid-back acoustic ballad follows the Australian artist's summer single, Far Side of the Moon. He said:
"Inefficient Love was one of those songs that beamed in from somewhere. I was sitting on my couch at home watching a show and start playing the guitar and just played the whole song in about 5 minutes. It feels old and I love it."
As part of a wider autumn European tour, the songwriter — real name Nick Murphy — will play two shows at London's HERE At Outernet on October 23 and 24. Tickets are on sale now.
He released his most recent album, 'Hotel Surrender', in 2021, which was followed by an expanded edition in 2023. Last year, he dropped a special expanded 10th anniversary edition of his debut album, 'Built On Glass'.
