Melody's Echo Chamber Announces Fourth Album And Spring London Show

Melody's Echo Chamber, the project of French musician Melody Prochet, has announced her fourth studio album.
'Unclouded' will arrive through Domino on December 5, following up 2022's 'Emotional Eternal' and her previously shelved album 'Unfold'. Its title is inspired by a quote from Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki: "You must see with eyes unclouded by hate. See the good in that which is evil, and the evil in that which is good. Pledge yourself to neither side."
Co-produced and co-written by Sven Wunder, the new project features contributions from Josefin Runsteen on strings, Daniel Ögen and Reine Fiske on guitar, Love Orsan on bass, and Malcolm Catto on drums, with Leon Michels also working with Melody on her recent single Daisy.
To coincide with the record's announcement, she has shared the new track In The Stars, a psych-pop offering that comes with a trippy video directed by frequent collaborator Diane Sagnier. Melody said:
"The music I create unusually inhabits the liminal zone between realism and fables. But the more experience I have of living, the deeper I love life and the less I need to escape. If my heart still belongs to the blue hour, it also feels like I’ve gathered up all the pieces of myself that were scattered everywhere and glued them together with gold like Japanese kintsugi."
Alongside the album news, Melody's Echo Chamber has scheduled a world tour for next spring, which includes a show at London's Electric Ballroom on April 21. Tickets go on general sale at 3pm local time on Friday (October 3).
