Madness Announce Autumn Release For Greatest Hits Album 'Hit Parade'

Madness have announced a new greatest hits album.
The London ska-pop legends will release 'Hit Parade' on November 21, featuring 45 singles from their 45-year history from 1979 through to 2024, including It Must Be Love, Baggy Trousers, Lovestruck, and House of Fun.
The collection will be available in multiple formats, including a 45-track two-CD edition, two era-based double LP volumes, and a deluxe four-LP box set with a bonus 7" single of Bed and Breakfast Man and Madness (The Singles That Never Were). The band said:
"From the early days to the latest tracks... we've packed up the lot and brought them all together in ‘Hit Parade’. It’s a proper nutty collection of our biggest and best. Press play, turn it up, and enjoy the ride."
Following their annual House Of Fun Weekender at Butlin's Minehead in late November, the band will take the record on the road for their previously scheduled Hit Parade Tour of the UK in December, featuring support from Squeeze. Tickets are on sale now.
Madness released their latest album, 'Theatre Of The Absurd Presents C’est La Vie', in 2023, earning them their first number one studio album. An 'enhanced edition' of it dropped in June last year. For Record Store Day this year, they released an exclusive translucent red vinyl of covers recorded over the years.
