Primal Scream have announced a one-night-only show in London.
The Scottish band will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their sixth studio album, 'XTRMNTR', at a special concert at the Roundhouse on December 8. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (October 10). Frontman Bobby Gillespie (pictured) said:
"’XTRMNTR’ was a very prescient album. It’s more relevant today than when we first released it 25 years ago, as the world has become a much darker and uncertain place since then. It’s time to play those songs again."
The show will follow their previously announced headline set at the Hacienda's Warehouse Project takeover in Manchester in November. They also have several gigs scheduled in Latin America over the coming weeks. Tickets for those are on sale now.
Primal Scream released their latest studio album, 'Come Ahead', in 2024. In March, they dropped the remix album 'Come Ahead: The Remixes Vol 1 (Vocals)', which was followed by 'Come Ahead: The Remixes Vol 2 (dubs)' in May.
They feature on Pet Shop Boys' upcoming remix album, 'Disco 5', out on November 21. It also includes recent remixes from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Paul Weller and Tina Turner, along with a rework of their own track Dreamland featuring Olly Alexander.
