Primal Scream are a Scottish indie rock band from Glasgow, consisting of vocalist Bobby Gillespie, guitarist Andrew Innes, keyboardist Martin Duffy, drummer Darrin Mooney, bass player Simone Butler, and guitarist Barrie Cadogan.

The band released their debut album, ‘Sonic Flower Groove’ in 1987, followed by their self-titled second LP in 1989, but it wasn’t until their third album, ‘Screamadelica’ in 1991, that the band broke into the mainstream. The band have released a further eight albums to date, including 2016's ‘Chaosmosis’, which they supported with extensive touring across the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
