Jesus Jones is a British indie dance band from Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, currently consisting of Mike Edwards, Jerry De Borg, Al Doughty, Iain Baker and Gen (Simon Matthews).
Formed in 1988, the group released their debut album, ‘Liquidizer’, in 1989, which they followed with ‘Doubt', in 1990, which hit #1 in the UK Albums Chart. It spawned the single, ‘Right Here Right Now’, which reached #2 in the USA Billboard Hot 100 and #31 in the UK Singles Chart. Their third album, 'Perverse', came out in 1993, which reached #6 in the UK. ‘Already’ came out in 1997, and ‘London’ in 2001. The band is set to release their latest album,’Passages’, in June 2017.
The success took the band to America, Canada, Europe, Japan, and Australia on tour. In 2013, they supported the The Wonder Stuff, on their 'Sleigh The UK' tour. That year they also headed out on tour to play a full album run through of 'Liquidizer', which they followed the year after with 'Doubt'. In 2017, they put out 'Passaes', and supported the new record with a UK tour.
Now, in 2018, the band will play a run of UK dates in spring. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and ticket information below on Stereoboard.
