Oneohtrix Point Never Announces New Album 'Tranquilizer'

Oneohtrix Point Never, real name Daniel Lopatin, has announced a new album.
'Tranquilizer' will be released digitally on November 17, with physical formats dropping on November 21 via Warp. He said:
"It’s a record shaped by commercial audio construction kits from a bygone era—an index of cliches turned inside out. It is a return to a process-oriented form of music making for me that I felt best evoked a certain kind of madness and ennui in the heart of culture today."
To coincide with the announcement, the Boston producer, multi-instrumentalist and composer has shared three new songs: For Residue, a sparse, ambient offering, the more dynamic, synth-driven Bumpy, and the glitchy, hypnotic Lifeworld, which comes with a head-spinning video that adds a cinematic touch.
Since 2023's 'Again', Lopatin served as executive producer on the score for the Showtime series The Curse, contributed to The Weeknd's 2025 album 'Hurry Up Tomorrow', and most recently scored Josh Safdie's upcoming film Marty Supreme, which will be released on December 25 in the US and January 1 in the UK.
